Bosón de Higgs

Higgs Boson

The Higgs Boson botijo represents one of the greatest discoveries in modern physics: the particle responsible for giving mass to all matter in the universe.

The surface of the botijo, covered with equations, displays the formulas of Higgs theory, which mathematically express the existence of that invisible field permeating the cosmos.

From this dark background, organic forms, flowers, leaves, and trunks, emerge as a symbol of the connection between physics and nature, reminding us that the fundamental laws of the universe are deeply intertwined with the reality that surrounds us.

The multiple spouts of the botijo, some elongated like test tubes, evoke the experiments carried out at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), where the Higgs boson was first detected in 2012. The glazed texture, with its interplay of light and reflections, seems to bring the inscribed equations to life, as if the ceramic itself were vibrating with the energy of subatomic particles.

This botijo is not merely a ceramic piece, but a metaphor for the “God Particle,” a bridge between the intangible and the visible, between the theoretical and the natural.
